Final Blog-Blogging
So, this semester we have been blogging about different things. These blogs have taught me that blogging is a good way to exchange different types of information. This is the first time that I have ever blogged for any reason and found it quite interesting to write my own blogs and read others blogs. I also learned how easy it is to make your own blog and how starting one up is just a matter of a couple of minutes. I don't know if i will continue to write blogs, but now that I know how easy it is, it is a possibility.

Keeping your immune system working during the winter months is very important, here are a few different ways to make sure you don'g get sick:

growth in technology
Technology is growing exponentially. This has been the case for a while, and it begs the question, can technology continue to grow in such a positively accelerating pattern, or will it at some time level off. Population growth over thousands of years has followed the same pattern, and i think that this has something to do with the growth of technology. The more people, the more ideas, and the better chance that there will be groundbreaking ideas that influence changes in technology. Another reason i think technology is growing so quickly is the fact that new technology is the greatest tool we have to develop more new technology. So it's like we are developing things that help us develop more things in the future, and this seems like an endless cycle.

DVR
So, I love having DVR. I have time warner and our package comes with free dvr (digital video recorder) and it is a great invention. I've had dvr for a while but have eben using it a lot more lately. Anytime I can't be here to watch something that i have been waiting to watch, i can just record it and watch it at my leisure. The best part is i can fast forward through the commercials. It's especially great right now because i get to record all the christmas movies that are on. I try not to watch too much tv, but it's just an example of how technology is making our lives much more convenient.
Stress relivers for finals week
With finals week quickly approaching, I thought that i would share a few activities that can reduce a persons stress. Here are a few of those strategies:
1)Deep Breathing-Breathing deeply is often a good way for one to reduce their own stress. Breath in deep for a count of 4 seconds, hold your breath for 2 seconds, and then exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat this 2 to 4 times several times a day and this will help.
2)Stretching- If you take a moment every now and then to get up and stretch, this can be another way to reduce stress levels. Stretching increases your blood flow and makes you less tense. Try it out.
3)Short Walks- This is another good way to reduce stress. It can be very relaxing to take a walk and just enjoy your surroundings.
